Carrie Lam's net approval rating drops 6 percentage points from mid-December

According to the survey results, the latest score of Chief Executive Carrie Lam was 33.8 points, a drop of two points from the survey conducted from December 9 to 14 last year, of which 35% gave 0 points, and only more than 20% of the respondents gave 50 points or more.

Her latest approval rating was 19%, down two points; disapproval was 67%, up four points, and the net approval rating was negative 48 points, down six points from the previous poll.

Regarding the Secretary, the latest score of the Secretary for Justice, Zheng Ruohua, was 24.9 points, a significant decrease of 3.9 points from the survey conducted from October 29 to November 3 last year, and the net support rate was negative 38 percentage points.

Financial Secretary Chen Maobo scored 42.3 points, down 1.9 points, with a net support rating of 3 percentage points, the only positive number among the Chief Executive and the three secretaries.

The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Lee Ka-chiu, scored 36.9 points, an increase of 0.4 points, and the net approval rating was negative 10 percentage points.

Except for Zheng Ruohua's score, which has dropped significantly, the rest of the figures have not changed significantly from two months ago.

None of the five core social indicators is higher than 5, and indicators are rated on a scale of 0 to 10.
