Power outages affect the northern part of the city of Buenos Aires

Merchants desperate for power outages in Argentina 1:22

Amid the high temperatures that affect Argentina, the electricity distributor 

reported this Tuesday on power outages in much of the northern corridor of the city of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs.

In a series of tweets, they explained that a high voltage line went out of operation due to a fire in a house in the San Martín district, province of Buenos Aires.

They indicated that the company began normalization maneuvers "which will be staggered and the service is expected to be replenished progressively in the next two hours."

"Edenor regrets the accident that occurred and particularly on a day like today in which unusual temperatures have been recorded with the consequent peak in electricity consumption," he concluded.
