Al-Hasakah-SANA
The Health Directorate of Al-Hasakah, in cooperation with the branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, rehabilitated the health center in the village of Al-Gharb in the southern countryside of the governorate.
The head of the Crescent branch, Ali Mansour, said in a statement to SANA reporter that in the context of supporting the health sector in the governorate and achieving continuity of providing services to patients, the Al-Gharb Center was rehabilitated by providing it with a solar energy system to generate electricity.
The completion of rehabilitation works that included the construction of a medical waste incinerator, the installation of a gas air conditioner, the repair of water network faults, and the preparation of the pharmacy, in addition to securing fire extinguishers.
It is noteworthy that the center, which was rehabilitated with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross, serves 52 villages and communities in the area and receives more than 900 beneficiaries per month from the residents of the southern countryside of the governorate.
