Distinguished projects led by the “Omar” volunteer team in Damascus with the energies of dozens of young people who plan and implement them with the aim of advancing the educational, social and academic reality of young people, the most prominent of which is the “Classroom” project, which hosts students throughout the day, providing them with a stimulating study environment that relieves them of the burden of cold and power cuts.

The project, which was launched with the approaching of the university exams, in cooperation between the “Omarha” volunteer team and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, sought, according to Muhammad Al-Jado’, the founder of the team, to secure a suitable free place to study, including electricity, internet, lighting and heating, so that the student could spend hours within it Study in an atmosphere conducive to academic achievement.

The founder of the team pointed out the need for this project for support so that it can provide quality services to the students, praising the efforts of the young energies that volunteered to prepare the hall and equip it to receive the students.

The student Abdullah pointed out that he finds in this project an opportunity to compensate for the long-suffering of his studies due to the circumstances of electricity rationing, especially that the halls open their doors daily for students throughout the day until nine in the evening, which is enough time to prepare for his exams.

It is noteworthy that the team began its voluntary activity in 2015 in many areas to create a development nucleus with the aim of shedding light on all the pillars of intellectual and social life, its development and advancement.
