A passenger train stopped near Gorel Junction, after the locomotive driver recognized that stones had been placed on the railroad tracks, police said this evening (Tuesday).
At the same time, on Road 25 near Nevatim, a report was received of stones being thrown at a bus and a private vehicle.
Police suspect that there were riots and stone throwing following the dispute over the planting scheme in the Negev of the JNF. The
police said that the private vehicle was damaged. Police arrived at the scene, began searches and opened an investigation.
