37,887 people have been diagnosed with corona in the last day in Corona - the Ministry of Health updated this morning (Tuesday).

The rate of positive tests is 11.38%, and the coefficient of infection has risen to 2.05.

Alongside these, there has been a consistent increase in the number of patients in critical condition.

The figure has increased in the past day from 223 to 247, and in total by almost 50 in two days.

The number of respirators is 59. 8,271 people have died after being infected in Corona since the outbreak of the plague in Israel.

Meanwhile, the new test outline, which referred to vaccinated and recovering Israeli home tests that are not in risk groups for developing severe corona disease, has so far not solved the problem of heavy loads in the test complexes.

Hundreds of people lined up at the testing complex in Be'er Sheva yesterday, including many parents and children, since the morning.

"We have made appointments, but there is a load. People do not go to work," said a city resident who was waiting his turn.

"We also did a test yesterday and today we also do a test. The conduct is incomprehensible."

The antigen testing complex in Netivot was also heavily congested, and already in the morning, about 200 people could be seen in line for the test.

"We made an appointment, but when we got here we were told that the appointment was not catching and there was a mess waiting," said Limor, one of the waiters.

"If the children were not infected in the schools, then they were infected here. They will be infected by what is happening here in the queues."

MDA officials said today that they would increase forces and staff at the test sites, but admitted that there are still loads on some of the sites. MDA also intends to extend the hours of operation of the tests.

The new corona testing outline, which requires those exposed to a verified patient, went into effect on Friday, amid the spread of rapid morbidity and the many complaints about the giant queues to the testing complexes.

Under the outline, vaccinated young people under the age of 60 who do not belong to a risk group will no longer be referred for PCR tests, but for rapid antigen tests to be performed at their home or test centers.

At the same time, many citizens have complained that there is a shortage of home corona tests in stores.
