Landsberg - Lechstadt is popular: Last Monday evening, according to the police report, around 1,200 'walkers' were out and about in an unregistered demonstration train in the old town.

The critics of the Corona measures ran several rounds, avoiding the counter-demonstration registered by the “Landsbergbleibtbunt” (LBB) initiative on Hellmairplatz with around 250 people.

Hellmairplatz was cordoned off from Ludwigstrasse and Herzog-Ernst-Strasse, as was the Marienbrunnen on the main square, where a maximum of 50 people were allowed according to the police and district office. The numerous emergency services of the Landsberg police present were supported by a platoon of the riot police. After the 'strollers' finally returned to the main square, they gathered, without keeping their distance, to sing the song “The thoughts are free”. After about 30 minutes, after three warnings to keep your distance, the police declared what was happening on the main square as a gathering at 7:31 p.m. and ended it. In the press release of the Landsberg police only the term "unannounced meeting" can be read. There were no significant incidents.

As with the previous 'walks', the police initially asked for the meeting leader, which was usually not there, and the megaphone was set so low that “louder” calls could be heard. Shortly afterwards, the train started moving again, but unlike before via Hintere Salzgasse in order to avoid Hellmairplatz, where around 200 counter-demonstrators were waiting. Due to the barriers on Ludwigstrasse and Herzog-Ernst-Strasse, the Marienbrunnen was the only point of contact between the two groups. The demonstrators there booed the 'walkers', shouted “You can go home”, “Get the Nazis out”, “Put your mask on” or “Vaccinate, vaccinate, vaccinate”. Some “strollers” countered with “too lazy to work” or “social workers”. Occasionally there were also conversations between 'strollers' and counter-demonstrators.

The participants in the non-registered meeting also came from other counties.

There were several inquiries on Telegram in advance asking for a plan of the various 'walks' in order to be able to visit several of them one after the other.

The modified route was also communicated in advance in a Landsberger chat on Telegram.

In general, the 'strollers' are against the corona measures.

A question from participants of the 'walk' why they were specifically there was unanswered.

You go for a walk on Söder's instructions, that is healthy.

When asked again it was said that one does not talk to the press, "because you do not write what we say".

Another participant replied that it was "obvious" why she was there.

When asked about this 'obvious', she simply replied “everything is fine”.

The intention of the counter-demonstrators was clearly recognizable: “Responsibility is no walk”, or “No more illegal demos” criticized the deliberate failure to register for the 'walks' and the lack of a meeting leader.

Statements like “Not an inch from fascism” indicated that the right-wing extremist party “The III.

Way ”to the“ walks.

Above all, the lack of demarcation between 'walkers' and right-wing people, be they organizers or 'free riders', is criticized here.
