The Corona continues to flood the education system:
7,404 new patients were added to the education system yesterday (Monday) (about 35% of all patients in Israel), of whom 6,406 are sick students and another 1,000 are sick staff.
In total there are already about 43,000 verified students, and another 85,000 students in isolation.
But the real numbers of isolated students are much higher, as the Ministry of Education suffers from under-reporting, and the outline of the tests also makes it difficult to collect the data, as many are tested in home tests and not in institutional tests.

An examination by "Israel Today" shows that many genes are closed one after the other.
For example, in Tel Aviv alone there are 30 kindergartens closed, in Jerusalem more than ten, in Ramat Gan there are five and in Kiryat Malachi nine.
Authorities themselves admit they have no information on the extent of the closed gardens.
One of the critical problems is not only students being sent to solitary confinement, but also the missing staff members - data yesterday indicated more than 10,000 teachers not coming to work.
Of these, 6,252 teaching staff are active patients, and more than 4,000 teachers are in isolation.

Apart from them, there are also many teachers who do not come to teach due to the fact that their family members have been infected in Corona and they need to be cared for, but the Ministry of Education has no data on the extent of the phenomenon.
The new isolation outline creates a reality in an area where learning does not take place on a regular basis.
"The Ministry of Education manages everything on its own and causes the system to go blind," explains Hagit Moshe, deputy mayor of Jerusalem and holder of the education portfolio.
She said, "Unlike previous rounds where we knew how to locate in real time, in each institution, what his condition is, and get exact numbers on the number of children sitting in the house - today we get the data late, and there is very great chaos."
"Full transition to zoom? Only after all options have been exhausted"
Meanwhile, Education Minister Yifat Shasha Bitton is trying to keep the schools open, despite the situation on the ground.
At the same time, it is trying to combat the teachers 'organizations' decision not to transfer zoom lessons in parallel to classroom lessons.
Yesterday, a letter was sent to the principals on behalf of the Ministry of Education, according to which "a full transfer of a class to distance learning will be a last resort, in the decision of the school principal, after all the possibilities have been exhausted."
The letter comes after entire classes were sent to study remotely.
According to the guidelines, the closure of an educational institution and a full transition to distance learning will be done only according to the decision of the district director.
Beyond distance learning of a classroom will be done with the approval of the school principal, and beyond distance learning of a class will be done with the approval of a supervisor.
