Violence in the Arab sector continues:
The court this morning (Wednesday) extended the detention of a man arrested for questioning on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against his daughters.
At the same time, police have filed an indictment against four Umm al-Fahm residents on suspicion of violent robbery and sexual assault of three Judea and Samaria residents.
The investigation of the father suspected of committing sexual offenses against his daughters began about a week ago when he received a report from the welfare that the suspect, a resident of North Jerusalem in his 40s, allegedly committed indecent acts on his daughters, some of whom were minors and assaulted his children.
Investigators from the Jerusalem District Judicial Station arrested the suspect in the act last night for questioning and he was transferred for questioning when this morning, he was remanded in custody and the court extended his detention in favor of continuing the investigation until January 16.

Meanwhile, at the end of the police investigation, a serious indictment was filed against four residents of Umm al-Fahm, including a minor, for violent robbery and aggravated sexual assault of three residents of Judea and Samaria. His relatives - another man and woman, also residents of the Hebron area, in the skeleton of a building in Umm al-Fahm, were brutally robbed by a number of suspects while also robbing the woman's jewelry and sexually assaulting her.
A special investigation team set up at the Umm al-Fahm police station conducted a complex and sensitive investigation, which soon led to the arrest of three city residents aged 24-22 and another 17-year-old minor, also a city resident when part of the stolen money was seized.
The detention of the defendants was extended from time to time and this morning an indictment will be filed against them in the Hadera Court for the charge attributed to them. In addition, a request will be submitted for the forfeiture of the vehicle used by the defendants at the time of the robbery.
