Eighteen suspects were arrested today (Wednesday) after throwing stones at police officers who were working to secure the KKL-JNF planting in the Negev, which was stopped in the morning.
The police officers who made the arrests are Yoav unit fighters and Border Police fighters. After the suspects were arrested, they were taken in for questioning.
Recall that earlier today, a source from the Israel Lands Administration told "Israel Today" that they "applied pressure from above" in order to stop the work today.
Bennett's entourage claims that the cessation of planting was planned, and since this is not a case of folding to the demands of Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas.
