The total and sudden corona closure announced last week in the city of Zhangzhou caught many of the city's residents in complete surprise, but it is doubtful that many of them encountered a strange situation like Mrs. Wang, a young Chinese woman who decided to tell her story on the Wichat social network.
Wang told surfers that she arrived at the home of a Chinese bachelor for a blind date, which was arranged by the young woman's parents.
"I'm getting older and my parents, who are very worried, have arranged 10 blind dates for me," she said in a post she posted.
Wang said she was persuaded to criticize one of the guys who was offered to her because he was alleged to be a good cook.
Wang arrived at the house and the young man's for dinner, which she claimed she enjoyed very much, but while she and the man were eating their hearts out, the corona curfew was declared in the city and according to Chinese regulations no one is allowed to leave his house for whatever reason.

Wang said she had been stuck in the place for at least a week and that her condition was "far from ideal".
The young woman added that her date turned out to be an excellent cook and cooks for her with great desire every day.
"He does not talk too much but the food is delicious," Wang wrote in one of her posts.
At this point it is not clear with Wang still being in the matchmaker's home many of the city's 12 million residents are still in complete quarantine, suggesting that Ms. Wang may still be enjoying the matchmaking's cooking.
