Nine people were arrested this morning (Tuesday) during violent riots in the area of the JNF's forestry works in the Negev. The JNF's plantings resumed around 08:00 under heavy police security.
This, after last night dozens of young people rioted in several hotspots, setting fire to vehicles, throwing stones and blocking a railway track with stones.
Two policemen were injured during the riots.
