Kitchen fire in Taufkirchen near Munich: woman lashes out - she wanted to go back to the apartment
As the deputy commander of the Taufkirchen volunteer fire brigade and head of operations, Jochen Schendel, reports, it was no problem for his team to extinguish the fire, but it was possible to get the 63-year-old out of the smoky apartment. The resident was in a psychological state of emergency and always wanted to go back to her apartment. When trying to get her out of the danger zone, she also lashed out, according to Schendel. The vice-commander himself was hit in the face.
Ultimately, the fire workers were able to drag the woman, who suffered from smoke poisoning in the fire, out of the apartment.
Police officers took them into custody there.
Here, too, the woman offered fierce resistance.
Because of the psychological problems, the 63-year-old was brought to the Isar-Amper-Klinikum in Haar.
The further investigations will be carried out by the police station 13.

The woman then tried to take the roasting pan out of the oven.
Burning oil spread over the kitchen floor.
Ultimately, the entire kitchenette caught fire.
No other people were injured.
According to initial estimates by the police, the fire damage amounts to around 20,000 euros.
