Pöcking - Was it really the deer that caused the accident on Monday evening between Niederpöcking and Possenhofen?
The police doubt the testimony of the drunk driver from Feldafing.
According to the 54-year-old who caused the accident to the police, a wild animal was the cause that he got off the road at around 7.15 p.m.
The man drove his Audi A8 in the direction of Possenhofen.
Shortly after the Paradies bus stop, the deer walked from the DLRG parking lot on the right into the street.
The Feldafinger therefore had to evade, got into the banquet and lost control of his vehicle.
Road boundary damaged
The Audi came to a stop on one of the tree trunks that border the road there.
In total, he damaged nine of these trunks over a distance of 50 meters, which, according to the police, indicates “a not entirely slow speed.
The driver's license is gone
According to the police, one reason for this accident was quickly established.
After the officers smelled alcohol, they performed a breath alcohol test.
With a result of the equivalent of about 1.34 per mille, a blood sample was taken at the clinic.
The Audi driver then had to surrender his driver's license.
The officials estimate the damage to the front and underbody of the Audi at 20,000 euros.
