Israel Railways has announced that due to an increase in the number of illnesses of train workers, it will be forced to make changes in train traffic today (Tuesday).
According to the changes, the Karmiel and Ahihud
stations will only operate during peak hours - 6: 00-9: 00 in the morning, 15: 00-18: 00 in the afternoon.
An hour in each direction, instead of four.
Trains on the Dimona-B'Sh North University line will not be operated.
Frequency on the Ashkelon, Sderot, Netivot, Ofakim, Beer Sheva lines will be on one train per hour, in each direction.
Also, the operating hours on this line will be shortened to 21:00.
Free rides will be operated at stations where there will be no service, from the end of train traffic until the end of operating hours at midnight.
