Erdweg municipality is 50 years old

A big anniversary is coming up this year for the Erdweg community.

Fifty years ago, on July 1, 1972, the Erdweg community was founded through the voluntary merger of the formerly independent communities Großberghofen, Eisenhofen, Kleinberghofen, Unterweikertshofen and Welshofen.

The community would like to celebrate this “round” birthday with all citizens. Erdweg's First Mayor Christian Blatt has already presented the planned festival in more detail. The program is intended to show the diversity of the Erdweg community through varied and independent events in the various districts. The areas of sport, music, culture and customs are included. In addition, an event calendar was created for the whole year.

Part of the series of events is a central celebration with an official ceremony.

This will take place from June 30th to July 3rd in Erdweg on Hans-Wölfl-Straße.

The following procedure is planned for this:

On Thursday, June 30th, the "Well brothers from Biermoos" will come.

On Friday, July 1st, Roland Hefter will perform with the band "Isarrider", on Saturday, July 2nd, the official ceremony will take place, followed by a festive evening and a live band.

On Sunday, July 3rd, there is a community festival.
