He actually wanted to flee from the police.
But the Renault driver, who had exceeded the speed in front of the officers, did not get far.
Freising
- The 21-year-old from the northern district was traveling too fast when he went to the police on Tuesday at 1.30 p.m.
During a speed measurement with a handheld laser measuring device, the officers noticed his Renault, which was driving past at 86 km / h instead of the permitted 60 km / h.
The young man made it even worse: he ignored the signs to stop the police and fled in the direction of Haindlfing, at least that was his intention.
Because he didn't get far, as the police say: "The PI Freising officers wanted to start the chase right away, but were able to locate the Renault a few hundred meters after the checkpoint at the junction to Pettenbrunn in the ditch, so the escape ended again here was. "
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
The good news: The driver was uninjured - just like his co-driver (20).
The bad: The 21-year-old had to admit to the officials that he did not have a driver's license.
During the conversation on site, the officers also increasingly suspected that the man had driven under the influence of drugs, which led to the next bad news for the 21-year-old: A corresponding test confirmed the suspicion of the police.
The result: The Renault driver will have to face criminal proceedings for endangering road traffic.
"After the blood collection required for this, the man was released from police custody," said the police report.
The fine of 100 euros for exceeding the speed and a point in Flensburg was on top of that.
