A career forum will be held on Saturday January 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hôtel de la Cité suspendue in Parc Astérix.

Catering and hotel trades are particularly sought after at Parc Astérix.

Starting with motivation and commitment, notions that have sometimes been forgotten since the start of the pandemic, especially in the restaurant and hotel sectors, where Parc Astérix, like other leisure parks, has a big hit. needs.

Parc Astérix can also count on the expertise and experience of Pôle emploi to carry out its campaign to hire seasonal workers.

"Every year, we organize sessions in our agencies where Asterix recruiters come to present their jobs," explains Vincent Coutourides, director of the Pôle emploi agency in Saint-Maximin.

We are preparing job seekers in advance from the start of the year with a view to the recruitment campaign.

And last year, we also set up a webinar with the Park that brought together 570 people.

Asterix is ​​more than 80 jobs and continuous recruitment with the summer, All Saints and Christmas seasons.

Usually 50% of those who worked there apply again the following year.

In detail, the park is looking for staff for all the hotel and catering trades, but also administrative and reception staff, operators of attractions, additional artists for shows and entertainment, dancers, storekeepers, salespeople and store managers. For most of these seasonal positions, the base salary corresponds to the minimum wage, 10.57 euros per hour on January 1, 2022, or 1,603 euros gross on the basis of work lasting 35 hours.

For several years, work-study positions have been open to young people in training, mainly for the hotel and restaurant sectors, for example with a partnership with Infa de Gouvieux, a training institute specializing in these fields.

Asterix is ​​also looking for permanent employees to reinforce the site's 230 full-time employees.

There are currently vacancies for maintenance technician, event sales assistant, maintenance mechanic, electrician or carpenter.
