There are signs of the spread of COVID-19 in the community. In order to reduce the chance of the spread of the epidemic, banks have begun to adjust branch business hours.

BOCHK (2388) informed customers and the public that due to the needs of epidemic prevention work, starting tomorrow (13th), the business hours of all branches in Hong Kong will be adjusted until further notice.

Except for the special arrangements of the following branches (see attached photos), the business hours of the remaining branches will be adjusted from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

The cut-off time of the cheque deposit machine will be adjusted to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday. If the cheque is deposited after the cut-off, it will be processed on the next settlement day.

Customers can also use the bank's 24-hour self-service banking center, ATMs, mobile phones, online and telephone banking and other electronic channels.

Customers can check the information of nearby service outlets on the Bank's website (www.bochk.com/tc/branch.html).

In addition, the Wu Chung Building branch in Wanchai, which was closed earlier, will resume services from tomorrow.

The bank said that it will continue to fully cooperate with the epidemic prevention work, and has taken a series of epidemic prevention and hygiene measures at all branches, including regular disinfection and enhanced cleaning, requiring employees to wear masks during work, and doing staff temperature checks.

Customers entering the branch are also required to have their body temperature checked and wear masks.

In addition, special customer diversion and queuing arrangements have been implemented to allow customers to maintain an appropriate distance and shorten their stay in branches. We will closely monitor the development of the epidemic in Hong Kong and take appropriate measures according to the situation.
