HSBC: 13 day and night banking centres will be temporarily closed

HSBC will temporarily close all retail bank branches early from tomorrow, open until 4pm from Monday to Friday and until 12pm on Saturday.

At the same time, HSBC's 13 day and night wealth management centers will be temporarily closed, and the adjacent wealth management center will continue to maintain normal services.

The business hours of the HSBC SME Centre have also been adjusted to 4pm from Monday to Friday.

The arrangement is in response to the ongoing changes in the current situation of the novel coronavirus in Hong Kong. While providing banking services to customers, HSBC also takes precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of staff and customers.

All HSBC service locations follow the best guidelines for safety and health to ensure safe service.

The bank pointed out that customers who have made an appointment to exchange new banknotes can go to designated branches according to the original date and time.

All HSBC retail banking branches will open early at 8:00 a.m. from January 13 to 15 as planned, and from January 13 to 31, they will continue to distribute chips at the branch in the morning to arrange for customers to wait for same-day redemption of new banknotes.

In order to maintain social distance, the branch will implement crowd control.

Standard Chartered: Branch opening hours from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Standard Chartered pointed out that from tomorrow, all branches, Priority Banking Center and Priority Private Banking Center will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mobile branches are open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and are closed on Saturdays.

All corporate express centers are open from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday, and are closed on Saturdays.

The business hours are adjusted until further notice.

The bank pointed out that the new banknote exchange service will remain unchanged. From tomorrow to Saturday (15th), all branches will maintain the new banknote exchange service from 8 am.

Bank of China: Branches close at 4:00 a.m.

BOCHK (2388) informed customers and the public that due to the needs of epidemic prevention work, the business hours of branches in Hong Kong will be adjusted from tomorrow until further notice.

Except for the special arrangements of the following branches (see attached photos), the business hours of the remaining branches will be adjusted from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

The cut-off time of the cheque deposit machine will be adjusted to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday. If the cheque is deposited after the cut-off, it will be processed on the next settlement day.

Customers can also use the bank's 24-hour self-service banking center, ATMs, mobile phones, online and telephone banking and other electronic channels.

In addition, the Wu Chung Building branch in Wanchai, which was closed earlier, will resume services from tomorrow.

The bank pointed out that it will continue to fully cooperate with the epidemic prevention work, and has taken a series of epidemic prevention and hygiene measures in all branches, including regular disinfection and enhanced cleaning, requiring employees to wear masks during work, and doing staff temperature checks.

Customers entering the branch are also required to have their body temperature checked and wear masks.

In addition, special customer diversion and queuing arrangements have been implemented to allow customers to maintain an appropriate distance and shorten their stay in branches. Hang Seng: MTR station offices open until 4pm

Hang Seng pointed out that from tomorrow, the business hours of all ground branches, subway station offices, mobile branches and business banking centers will be adjusted until further notice.

The ground floor branch is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday.

MTR station offices are open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, and 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

Mobile branches are open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and closed on Saturdays; business banking centers are open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays.
