The coalition had to anticipate that the Electricity Law would encourage the continuation of bullying • Meanwhile, the protest of the heads of the communities of Judea and Samaria expanded during the week, when they were joined by heads of local authorities from the Negev • All of them now understand that the government has no red lines

The demand of the Arab factions to stop planting KKL-JNF in the Negev is a direct continuation of the approval of the Electricity Law. Because with food comes appetite. .

They thought the government had red lines.

That excessive demands on their part will cause the right-wing fringe in the coalition to dismantle the package.

That there is a difference between financial demands and matters that directly concern the national, Zionist matter.

Mansour Abbas has repeatedly stated that in exchange for budgets he would be willing to put aside the national issue, the conflict and the political interest.

Last week he realized that this must not be the case.

Which is certainly possible both.

And if it's possible on the way to shut up to the joint list - what good.

In the political system, the Electricity Law is marked as the watershed.

Not only in the eyes of the RAAM and the Bedouin in the Negev, but also in the eyes of the Israeli public. Many, including those who support the government, did not believe that such a thing could happen. RAAM and the joint list. And more under fire. When the Bedouin in the area go on a rampage, blocking roads and throwing blocks on a railway track, an event that only miraculously ended without casualties. He described what was happening on the outskirts of the council as a "mini-intifada." The fear among the Jews of the area is growing. A sense of general loss of control. There is no law and no order.

The same watershed of the Electricity Law brought the heads of the Judea and Samaria localities to widespread protest against the government, in a protest encampment set up in front of the Prime Minister's Office by Samaria Council Chairman Yossi Dagan, together with Beit El Council Chairman Shai Alon, Karnei Shomron Council Chairman Yigal Lahav, and head of the Gush Etzion Council, Shlomo Ne'eman. The encampment, which began with the slogan "Pentateuch first," expanded during the week, after disturbances in the south and planting events, when the heads of the communities in the Negev also came to the protest tent. From there came a clear call to replace the government. The message is that there is no difference between Judea and Samaria and the Negev. Surrender to the RAAM and the radical left in the coalition has crossed every possible line. It is not easy for them, the heads of councils and localities, to come and go out openly against the government. Many of them have regular working relationships with many ministers. Going against a government from the Likud - in this sense it is easier. The heads of the localities are Likud members, and the ministers need them. Now the ministers are not committed to anything, and the heads of the localities have no serious leverage to advance their cause. And yet - now went out to protest.
