Summary.
“You have to pay for all these crimes!
This shocking sentence is pronounced by François Devaux, on October 5, 2021, in front of an audience of high religious representatives.
That day, an independent commission denounces in a long-awaited report the responsibility of the Church for the hundreds of thousands of sexual abuses that have been committed by members of the clergy for decades.
François is one of the victims.
At the age of 11, he was abused by Father Bernard Preynat, while he was part of the young scouts of the parish of Saint Luc, near Lyon.
In 2015, when an investigation was opened against his attacker, he decided to create the association La Parole libérée with other victims.
François Devaux looks back on his career and his commitment to Sarah Hamny's microphone.
