Zhang Zhujun, director of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, said at a briefing yesterday (11th) that one of the patients involved was the male proprietor of the East Asia Pharmacy in Tuen Mun Aiding Shopping Centre. Both the 20-year-old daughters were diagnosed with the Omicron variant virus strain, and it was confirmed that the two cases were related to the Cathay Pacific crew members who had been infected earlier. They also checked the CCTV footage and confirmed that the confirmed crew members went to the pharmacy for shopping on the 27th of last month. After a short stay of about five minutes, the owner of the medicine may be infected.
