The KKL-JNF's forestry work in the Bedouin diaspora continues this morning (Wednesday) under security. " The Minister of Construction and Housing, Zeev Elkin, said this morning that these are works that are being done on state land and expressed support for the Israel Land Authority, which is responsible for the works.

"Planting is an important professional action to preserve the soil, this is an action that has been done for many years, I gave the CEO full backing. "He should not ask politicians when to go out for planting and when not," he said in an interview with 103FM.

Asked if previous plantings made under the current government had passed the PM's approval, Elkin replied: "What has it been?

No need to ask for approvals from the RAAM.

He said, "It does not stick a finger in the eye, the issue is not contrary to the coalition agreements, it happens every year. In this government too it happened, there were plantings when the government was formed there were pressures. This is a basic action."
