Presidents of Colombia and Peru seek to "deepen the bilateral relationship"

The presidents of Colombia, Iván Duque, and of Peru, Pedro Castillo, will meet this Thursday in Colombian territory to "deepen the bilateral relationship" and formalize a plan to improve the conditions of the inhabitants of the border region common, according to a statement published this Wednesday by the Colombian Foreign Ministry.

The so-called "Colombia-Peru Binational Cabinet" - to be held in Villa de Leyva, Boyacá - was not carried out in 2020 and 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Foreign Ministry indicated.
