The planting storm continues:

MK Nir Orbach from the right demonstratively left the Knesset this evening (Wednesday) and on his behalf it was announced that he will vote again in the plenum only after his coalition partners, MKs from the RAAM faction, also return to the polls.

As a result, the coalition lost votes on laws passed by the opposition.

As you may recall, last night the Prime Minister, Mansour Abbas, announced the boycott of the Knesset until the planting of the Negev was stopped.

The opposition, which is currently benefiting from the coalition uprising, has so far succeeded in passing five different laws, in a preliminary reading, with three of them attached to similar laws that also won a majority of votes.

Among the laws - the bill of MK Ahmad Tibi and Osama Saadi from the joint list on the duty of body cameras of police officers during a demonstration, and a law of MK Miri Regev on VAT exemption for young couples who purchase an apartment.

In addition, the bill seeking to reduce the regulatory burden on low-income businesses, submitted by MK Galit Distel Atbrian, has also passed. Orly Levy, and a proposal seeking to allow a payment spread for electricity consumption submitted to MK Michael Malkieli.

The chairman of the Likud faction, MK Yariv Levin, responded to the sequence of victories of the opposition in the plenum and said that "today it has been proven again - the current government is a chaos government. In Corona, the Negev and the Knesset. Zero management, zero leadership. "We have a strong government. We will continue to fight in the Knesset day and night, we will replace this government and get the state administration back on track."

Earlier today, the plenary session was halted for several hours at the request of Knesset members seeking to attend the funeral of President Herzog's mother.

Prior to the end of the plenum discussions, a compromise was reached on the issue of planting with the help of Welfare Minister Meir Cohen, who is in charge of the Bedouin Authority, as part of which planting will stop immediately For passing laws of the opposition.
