The Battle Royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds known as PUBG has been relaunched and is now becoming a free game for console and PC gamers.

Until today the option was free for mobile players only, but now players from other platforms will also be able to download the game for free and join the action and madness.

New players who download the game will get standard access to most of the content in the game, but veteran players who have already paid will be able to get an upgrade to the Battlegrounds Plus account that actually opens some of the premium items in the game.

The new game update has added a number of guides to help new players get into all the action more easily.
