Scooter hit by a car, dies 45 years old in the Forlì area

He died after the scooter he was riding on was hit by a car.

The 45-year-old Alex Altini died in a car accident, yesterday evening at the gates of Meldola (Forlì-Cesena), where he resided.

According to an initial reconstruction, while Altini was proceeding in the direction of Forlì, when he reached a roundabout, he was hit, for reasons still to be clarified by the carabinieri who intervened, by a Jeep Compass driven by a 66-year-old Cesena.

When overtaking the car would have hit the man with the side mirror, enough to trigger the fall.

    The 45-year-old, who was not wearing a helmet, violently beat his head on the asphalt.

His condition immediately appeared desperate to the 118 rescuers, even the helicopter intervention was useless: the man died during the transport to the hospital.
