As with the usual tickets, these trips can be booked from self-service terminals, stations and SNCF shops.

But also by phone at 3635 (free service + price call), from approved SNCF travel agencies and finally on the OUI.sncf website and application.

For those who wish to book a train running after May 12, it will be necessary to wait a little longer.

Indeed, reservations for May 13 will be open on January 13, those for May 14 will be on January 14 and so on until sales on July 1 inclusive.

Regarding Ouigo, reservations until July 1 are already open.

Likewise, international TGVs have already opened their reservations until July 7.

Omicron decreases attendance

For the French who would not dare to book their tickets so far in advance, for fear that the health situation had not improved sufficiently at the time of departure, or even that a new wave would strike, the SNCF recalls that "

l 'exchange and reimbursement are free of charge until D-3

”.

This campaign should also make it possible to put a smile back on the smile of the railway company hard hit by the Covid crisis at the start of 2022. On the one hand, the number of reservations has fallen sharply: “

a observed drop in reservations of 30% since the start of the year

, ”announced a spokesperson for SNCF Voyageurs.

On the other hand, a lack of personnel due to the health crisis.

As a result, SNCF has decided

to "adapt

" its transport plan since the start of the week.

This translates into a 10% drop in its TGVs and 20% in Intercités since Monday, January 10.
