The new Lexus NX is launched in Israel

Lexus is launching the new Lexus NX in Israel and this is a pretty important launch.

The NX is a successful and important vehicle for Lexus in Israel and in general - over a million units sold from it worldwide.

The NX holds 30 percent of Lexus sales in Europe and 35 percent of Lexus sales in Israel.

The company further claims that it has been leading sales in its segment here since arriving in the country.

The design of the vehicle is different from the previous model but the changes are quite subtle.

The front has become more aggressive and this can also be seen in the rest of the vehicle.

In terms of dimensions it is larger including the wheelbase when only the height remains as it was in the previous generation.

The new cabin offers driver-oriented configuration as well as a large screen with easy access to all Lexus controls.

The new multimedia screen comes here in its largest version, with a 14-inch faster operating system and a system with 10 speakers as standard.

The new generation also gets the third generation of Lexus' comprehensive safety system.

Thus it also arrives in the country at all trim levels as standard with all the safety systems offered in the said model.

Notable is a system for preventing the door from opening in the event of passing traffic.

The ability to detect cross-traffic also appears here and even automatic steering and braking assistance to prevent injury.

Lexus declares that when it comes to driving the new generation should offer an improvement when it comes to control and comfort.

They also point out that, contrary to popular belief, the battery sits along the entire floor of the vehicle, which bothers the center of gravity.

Two models are coming to Israel, one is the NX300h hybrid propulsion system (244 hp) and will be offered here with dual or front-wheel drive.

The second model is the NX450h 'Plus' which is the more powerful plug-in version (306 hp) and comes with all-wheel drive.

The entry-level model now comes with a higher level of equipment (according to Lexus) with prices starting at NIS 290,000 for the cheapest NX300h and 325,000 for the entry-level version of the NX450h 'Plus'.

The most expensive version is the NX450h 'Plus' in the F Sport finish level with adaptive suspensions and more for NIS 360,000.
