This Wednesday the National Aeronaval Service (Senan) of Panama reported on its Twitter account that they rescued 12 people who fell into the sea after the sinking of a boat, one person remains missing.
Major Olmedo Escudero del Senan indicated that the boat was heading to Panama City and that "as a result of bad weather, it was shipwrecked and people fell into the water and were left adrift all night."
According to Escudero, an aircraft was deployed to fly over the sector and a boat to travel by sea to locate the missing person.
