The" bowl method ": the effective technique for creating beautiful curls
In this video, a professional American hairstylist named Yasmina (known as @yazblends) shows off her technique for creating natural wavy waves that only takes five minutes and an accessory: the hairdryer.
“Part the hair into two sections and twist the lengths behind the head.
Make sure your hair dryer is at maximum temperature, ”explains the expert.
Then, diffuse the hot air on the strands and "let sit for one to two minutes".
And that's all.
The before / after result looks quite convincing on screen.
Divided opinions
The tens of thousands of comments below the video seem overwhelmingly convinced by this method.
"Wow, it sounds like the effects of Dyson Air Wrap but it doesn't cost $ 600," wrote an enthusiastic subscriber.
“I used to do my hair like this for years and I promise you it will hold,” adds another.
Even professional hairstylist Paul Mitchell (founder of the eponymous American hair brand) endorsed this tip.
Others wonder about the good behavior of these waves during the day.
"My hair would not last more than five minutes," laments a skeptical user.
"This will fall back and become smooth again in less than a minute," adds another.

For those who still want to try the experience, it is recommended to apply a thermal protective treatment on the lengths before using a heating device at such a high temperature.
To ensure good hold and a nice finish, nothing prevents you from applying a little texturizing spray or hairspray (which will also help discipline frizz), especially for those with long and / or thicker hair.
