A U.S. District Court judge has rejected Prince Andrew's offer to drop Virginia Joffer's lawsuit, which he filed against him alleging that he sexually abused her when she was 17, and that he traded her through convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Virginia Joffer, one of Jeffrey Epstein's many victims, is suing Prince Andrew for allegedly raping her when she was 17 years old.
His lawyers said the case should be closed, using the claim that in 2009 Giufra received $ 500,000 in compensation for settling the lawsuit she filed against him.
Prince Andrew has consistently denied the allegations.
The motion to dismiss the claim was set forth in a 46-page decision by the judge of the United States District Court.
Also, Prince Andrew said in an interview with BBC Newsnight in 2019 that he does not remember ever meeting Joffer.
