2G-Plus now applies in the Bundestag.
The move creates somewhat strange problems - in a bizarre way in the plenary.
A committee also expelled an AfD man from the room.
Berlin - The 2G-Plus rule has been in effect in the Bundestag since Wednesday (January 12) - so far, it seems almost exclusively the AfD *.
The step was apparently not optimally prepared: An AfD member of the Foreign Affairs Committee was expelled from the room because, according to his own statements, he was neither vaccinated nor recovered.
There was no separate area in which unvaccinated people could follow the session, as reported by the

Bas also has to promise improvements
Problems had also emerged in the plenary: In the big traffic light debate on Thursday, Parliamentary President Bärbel Bas (SPD) had to promise an AfD member of parliament that improvements would be made - the MP Karsten Hilse had chosen one in the stands, the area for unvaccinated people in the large hall Camera tripod tinkered with a holder for his speech manuscript.
Even in the stands, speakers should be able to file a manuscript, explained Bas.
Hilse thanked them, but complained about the lack of preparation.

This incident should be rated as bizarre.
Problems in the Foreign Affairs Committee seem more serious.
Because regardless of the vaccination status and the request to protect MPs from infections and to keep the parliament able to work, all elected MPs have the right to participate in the meetings of their committees.
“In fact, my parliamentary rights have been violated,” complained the person concerned, AfD politician Joachim Wundrak, when asked by

Corona measures in the Bundestag: AfD man is not allowed to participate in the meeting - the committee is looking for a solution
According to his own statements, the 66-year-old ex-general was initially admitted to the meeting room with a test certificate. At the beginning of the meeting, the SPD politician Michael Roth, as committee chairman, explained the new 2G-Plus rules. He reported himself and stated that as an unvaccinated person, his presence did not comply with the regulations, reported Wundrak. He was then not allowed to participate.
Roth assured at the portal's request that the AfD politician would have liked to be able to participate. However, there would have been a lack of time and space in the hall. The special regulations of the committee were also a problem: the committee meets in secret. Therefore, a connection was not possible, there was no grandstand in the room. With a view to protecting the other MPs, he had therefore proposed that Wundrak not be able to participate this time, explained Roth. All chairmen agreed - with the exception of the AfD chairman, Petr Bystron. This called the decision in a tweet "wrong".
How things will continue initially seems unclear: "We are working together with the Bundestag administration on a responsible solution for the next meeting," Roth told
