Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
Today, the city of Ramallah in the West Bank witnessed a vigil for hundreds of Palestinians, with the participation of a delegation from the occupied Syrian Golan, in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer.
The participants in the vigil affirmed their solidarity with the prisoners in the occupation prisons, calling on the international community to urgently intervene to release the prisoner Abu Hamid and save his life, which has entered a very dangerous turning point in recent days in light of deliberate medical neglect by the occupation.
In turn, the dean of the liberated Syrian prisoners, Sidqi Al-Maqt, stressed the importance of supporting the prisoners in the occupation's prisons, especially the sick among them, in light of the international inaction towards the Palestinian cause.
The mother of the captive Abu Hamid had announced this morning the hunger strike in solidarity with her son, who has been in a coma since the fourth of this month and suffers from difficult health conditions.
