The Arab Cultural Center held a literary meeting in the field with the participation of the storyteller Samer Khaled Mansour and the poets Joud Al-Dimashqi and Muhammad Nazir Jabr that included various topics.

The first stop was with the narrator Mansour, who in his story entitled “The Visitor is an epic that is repeated” between science fiction and creativity, as he used the symbol, where the story talks about a strange arrival from outer space and its impact on human visions with anecdotal events through an interesting style that preserved the artistic construction of the story.

The poet Gabr delivered two prose poems, the first entitled “Night” and the second entitled “Now”, in which the techniques of modernist literature were manifested in terms of intensification, raising questions and unfamiliar poetic images charged with significance and astonishment.

In their poetic purposes, the two poems went to social criticism, and among the issues they touched upon is social hypocrisy and the tendency of people's emotional relationship to negative forms. They also criticized the attempts of some parents to mold their children into their own patterns without leaving them freedom of expression.

As for the Damascene poet, he presented four poems in which he adhered to the column of poetry and realistic doctrine, and their methods varied between satirical literature and poetry with a melancholic tendency imposed by the bitter reality as a result of what Syria was subjected to from aggression with the tools of the West and an economic siege and the reflection of all this on the conditions of the Syrians and on human relations as stated in his two poems “My mood and major sedition,” in addition to his tendency in his texts to sharp criticism.
