As a result of the increase in morbidity and shortage of drivers in public transport companies, the National Public Transport Authority in the Ministry of Transportation tonight (Thursday) instructed bus companies to integrate drivers from private transport companies on intercity lines, in order to prevent as much damage to public service.
In order to ensure as reliable and regular service as possible, changes were made to the schedules and the frequency of bus lines where the damage would be minimal was temporarily reduced.
As you may recall, only yesterday did Israel Railways announce a number of changes in train traffic, with Carmiel and Ahihud stations operating only during peak hours - 6: 00-9: 00 in the morning, 15: 00-18: 00 in the afternoon.

Also, the operating hours on this line will be shortened to 21:00.
