The Government of Argentina arranged the modality of remote work for this Thursday and Friday in the national public administration from noon to reduce electricity consumption.
Its objective is for the population to maintain water and electricity services at a time when the country is going through a heat wave.
Decree 16/2022 was published this Thursday in the Official Gazette and bears the signature of President Alberto Fernández and the Chief of Cabinet, Juan Manzur.
To this extent, the authorities claim that this summer the country registers high temperatures due to its increase at the regional level, "due to the direct incidence of the La Niña phenomenon, which affects a large part of the southern hemisphere of America."
