The district office of Landsberg yesterday issued a ban on public gatherings both in the district town of Landsberg and in the market town of Dießen.
This ban initially only applies to Monday, January 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in designated areas.
In Dießen, this affects the area east of Prinz-Ludwig-Strasse, Johannisstrasse, south of Bahnhofstrasse and north of Tiefenbachstrasse and Moosstrasse.

According to the police, around 85 people "walked" through Dießen last Monday and protested against the Corona rules.
For this reason, Peter Bierl, as the organizer of the so-called Wednesday disco in Dießen, had called for a registered rally on Untermüllerplatz for next Monday at 5:45 p.m.
The motto was: "Solidarity through the pandemic - against lateral thinking and state management of human material." Bierl wanted to protest against "lateral thinkers, opponents of vaccination and swaggerers" on the one hand and against the state, which is only half-heartedly fighting the pandemic, on the other.
However, this meeting is now also prohibited because the street boundary affects the entire fishing area and thus also the Untermüllerplatz.
According to the decree, “registered and unregistered public gatherings in the open air” are prohibited there.
The district office cites the risk of infection as the main reason for the ban.
The Landsberg health department urgently advises against gatherings of people of any kind for “reasons of infection hygiene”.
The assessment is based in particular on the most recent infection process and on the detection of mutations.
