The Geretsried police are investigating robbery: a 13-year-old was robbed by a youth group.

- A predatory theft occurred in Geretsried on Thursday.

The victim is a 13 year old boy.

According to the Geretsrieder police, the incident occurred on Tuesday around 6:10 p.m. in the area of ​​the Isaraustadion on Jahnstrasse.

The boy was walking there when he met a group of young people.

One of the young people started talking to the 13-year-old and did it so skillfully that he came into possession of a curb chain that the child wore around his neck.

The perpetrator then fled - according to the police, a 16-year-old youth from Geretsried - with his prey in the direction of the school center.

The boy ran after him and wanted to catch him.

That prevented the other members of the group.

They got in the way of the 13-year-old and threatened him with a knife.

Then all the youngsters ran away.

The Geretsried police were supported by colleagues from the Wolfratshausen police station, the Weilheim emergency train, the Murnau border police and the Weilheim civilian task force.

The booty, like the pocket knife, could be seized from the 16-year-old teenager.
