Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, Syria's ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdel Karim, offered condolences on the death of the Lebanese media, Samar Shalak Al-Hajj.
The husband of the late media figure, Major General Ali Al-Hajj, the former director general of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces, and the family of the deceased thanked President al-Assad for his generous gesture, wishing him continued health and wellness, and Syria's victory in the terrorist war waged against it.
The media, Samar Al-Hajj, died this morning as a result of suffering from the disease, and she was buried to her final resting place, in the presence of a large number of political, party, religious, social, cultural and media figures and the masses of the resistance.
Al-Hajj was known for her pioneering national stances and support for Syria in confronting the terrorist takfiri ideology and the global terrorist war waged against it. She was also known for her support for the Palestinian cause and just Arab causes.
