Today, the Russian Reconciliation Center distributed a set of food baskets to the people of Khasaf village of Deir Hafer area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Maxim Lavrov, representative of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Aleppo, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the center works on a daily basis to assess the needs of the people affected by terrorism and the displaced. Today, 500 food rations were distributed to the residents of Khasaf village in Deir Hafer, amounting to five tons of flour, oil and canned goods.
Saleh Al-Hassan Sheikh Mukhtar of Khasaf village said that the distributed food rations benefit more than four thousand people from the families of Khasaf and Zubaydah villages, who have suffered from terrorism and displacement, and today they have returned to their normal lives in their fields and homes.
A number of families expressed their thanks to friends in Russia for the humanitarian aid provided to the affected people and for their standing by the Syrian people and their army in confronting terrorism.
