He always liked to mess with the state and the authorities, but now Hans Söllner seems to have had enough of it.

A new Facebook post worries its fans.

Bad Reichenhall - Hardly any other musician in Bavaria polarizes like Hans Söllner*.

His fans love him for his open and unaffected manner. Politicians, who were often the target of his songs and lyrics, often tried to shower him with complaints.

In 2020 he even wanted to go into politics himself and become mayor of his hometown of Bad Reichenhall.

Since the outbreak of the corona pandemic *, however, the 66-year-old singer-songwriter has become quiet.

Now a post on Facebook is causing a stir.

Hans Sollner retired?

Facebook post indicates end of career

Söllner has always been a bit of a rebel and rarely minced his words. The 66-year-old was also critical of various decisions regarding the Corona rules in Bavaria. For example, when it became known last autumn that musicians could perform again under 3G-plus conditions, the singer-songwriter refused to go back on stage. His team wrote at the time: “Hans will definitely not play 2G or 3G Plus (only valid PCR test) concerts in regions where the PCR test is subject to a charge and is mandatory. Like here in Bavaria.” Although his fans were sad at the time, they also celebrated their idol for his integrity. Now, however, a new post is causing shock moments among his followers.

Is this the end of Hans Söllner's career?

In his latest post on Facebook, the singer-songwriter offers his tour bus for sale.

He has been driving the bus since 2008 and it was always in use until 2021.

He even had it repaired last year, hoping to be able to perform again soon.

But: "Since it's been there since October and it's not getting any better, I'm selling it." The other lines of his text also give the fans little hope that their beloved Hans will return soon.

"Unfortunately, it has now turned out for me that I probably no longer need him due to the given circumstances, which is why I am hiring him here today."

Fans are shocked by Hans Söllner's sales ad

These words triggered a wave of dismay among Hans Söllner fans.

"Hey Hans, don't give up!

It'll get better again," writes one of his followers.

Another follower commented, "I'm very sorry you can't go on like this anymore." It goes on to say, "If that means you never want to go on tour, just don't do it!" Meanwhile, many other fans shared theirs Experiences from countless concerts by the unruly musician in the comment columns.

Whether the music career of the 66-year-old ends with the sale of the tour bus remains to be seen.

In any case, tour dates are still listed on his homepage and tickets can be bought.

However, only time and the further course of the corona pandemic will tell whether these concerts will take place.
