In France, stricter corona measures have been adopted, which primarily affect unvaccinated people.
You are no longer allowed to board an aircraft or long-distance train.
The French government is already talking about the fifth corona wave that the country has to pass through.
The 7-day incidence on Wednesday reached 2,944.6 new infections per 100,000 residents.
Therefore, the French Senate has now approved a tightening of the measures:
Unvaccinated people are no longer allowed to board an aircraft or long-distance train
, as reported by the online portal

.
However, this measure only takes effect when the hospitals are busy with corona patients.

Corona measure: France excludes unvaccinated people from long-distance travel
In addition to the entry ban for aircraft and long-distance trains, unvaccinated people are also excluded from visiting a gastronomic or cultural facility according to the decision.
However, those who have recovered are not affected.
The rule should only apply if there are
more than 10,000 corona patients in France's clinics
.
Since there are currently 24,000 in treatment, the measure is in effect.
According to a report by the news agency dpa, long-distance travel for unvaccinated persons is permitted with a test for “overriding reasons”.
An exception should continue to apply to people who have been tested and have already made an appointment for a vaccination.

The reason for the drastically increasing number of corona cases is the spread of the Omikron variant.
It is now predominant in the country.
The validity of the vaccination certificates has also already been adjusted: people aged 65 and over who received their basic immunization more than seven months ago must have been boosted since December 15 in order to continue to be considered fully vaccinated.
The same rule goes into effect for everyone aged 18 and over on January 15th.
