"Hartz and warm" - Petra has to say goodbye to her deceased fiancé Heiko with a heavy heart.

That's why she can't finish with the sudden death.

The sad news about the death of the new barracksman Heiko* has hit many "Hartz und Herzen"* viewers hard.

The ex-Berliner had just settled into Petra's small family.

After his sudden death, the sadness of the barracks lady and her children is all the greater - because the young family didn't have much time.

The shock is still deep with Petra, especially since the cause of death continues to be a mystery to them.

In the new episode "Hartz and warmly - day by day Benz barracks" (broadcast on January 11, 2022), the 51-year-old wonders why Heiko's death came so early and whether he might have been hiding something from her.

Hartz and warm: Petra doubts the cause of death – "I think there was more at play"

In the January episodes of the social documentary on RTLZWEI, Petra, who suffers from chronic lung disease, went in search of a suitable resting place for her Heiko*.

The Berliner did not have a close relationship with his family, which is why the 51-year-old and her children take care of the funeral.

Petra still doesn't seem to be able to find peace with his sudden death and doubts the cause of death*.

“He just told me: I have sugar.

I have heart problems.

I had an operation for cancer and there were two tumors on the liver - but small ones.

But I think there was more at play," reveals Petra in the 47th episode of the RTLZWEI cult show.

Looking back, Petra is primarily concerned with the fact that they only have a few months left with Heiko. Pascal also agrees with his mother's assumption and has his own theory of what Heiko had to go through in terms of health: "It may be that the cancer has moved again and appeared somewhere else," says Pascal in the social documentary. In retrospect, Petra finds some things inconsistent with regard to Heiko's death: "We puzzle over it a lot because we don't know exactly what the cause was. Not just the heart! I don't think so!" Petra reveals in the 47th episode of the RTLZWEI show in the Benz barracks. One of these inconsistencies seems to have been Heiko's three-day stay in the hospital for the 51-year-old. She expresses a sad suspicion.

Petra has strong doubts about Heiko's statement after he was discharged from the hospital: "The three days he was in the hospital – did he go home at his own risk, or did the doctors say: He doesn't have that long?" Questions the mother of Pascal and Selina in the TV show.

Her theory: Heiko knew that he would die soon and didn't want to tell the family anything so that he "wouldn't hurt them so much," Petra continued.

To find out if these suspicions are actually true, Petra and her children have already contacted the hospital and asked for information - but to no avail.

Petra searches for a suitable cemetery for her deceased fiancé.

"We've already called the hospital, but they can only tell us that he died of heart failure.

But what he had – don't give us any information," reveals Pascal in the 47th episode of the RTLZWEI show.

The uncertainty hits the grieving family hard, since Heiko had only recently moved to Mannheim from Berlin.

The 51-year-old reveals that he was suffering from pain.

But she still cannot fully understand the difficult situation: "He wanted to come to me so suddenly and just cried [...] and then, two months later, he is no longer there.

It can't go that fast.

I can't finish it yet," says Petra on the TV show.
