It is on November 6, 2020, place Jules-Ferry, that a delivery man rings the doorbell of this old lady.

He assures us that he is coming to bring a parcel to his little girl.

The thieves know the place and the life of the victim because the name of this young woman does not appear on the mailbox of the building.

When she opens her door, the octogenarian is pushed inside, dragged and then tied with electric wire.

The criminals, with their faces hidden by surgical masks, put a bag over his head.

They search the premises, seize the victim's bank card and his jewelry before fleeing.

The victim will be hospitalized

The victim manages to free himself on his own before calling for help.

The retiree is not injured, but she is very shocked by this assault.

"She was hospitalized so that she could be constantly monitored", explains a magistrate.

The police take samples from the home and discover two genetic fingerprints.

A first profile is found on a wallet and a second on a rubber band and on the links which had imprisoned the octogenarian.

Two suspects are identified but the police are struggling to locate them.

On November 9, a police operation was launched.

During his interrogation, he disputes the facts and cannot explain the presence of his DNA in the house.

In front of the examining magistrate of Nanterre, this young man assures that he was able to touch the wallet by visiting the old lady.

"It's not me," he says.

I even went to see this lady two days after the assault. ”

His ex-girlfriend demolishes his version explaining that he has not been to his grandmother for a very long time.

The lawyer of this man relativizes the gravity of the facts.

For his advice, this whole story is up to the criminal court because of the low damage and the absence of physical injury.

On November 15, his alleged accomplice, a man also already well known to the courts, was taken prisoner.

He maintains that he does not know Mohammed, denies the facts and cannot explain the presence of his DNA at the scene of the theft.

These two criminals therefore remain behind bars.
