Tehran-Sana
Today, Iran announced its successful launch of a solid-fuel satellite carrier.
The commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Ali Akbar Hajizadeh, indicated that the operation is the latest in a series of defense and military achievements of the country, especially in the field of air and space.
Hajizadeh added: "Recently we had a successful test of the engine of the first stage of the satellite-carrying rocket," noting that "there are two important elements in the space field, one of which is the satellite and the second is the rocket that carries the satellite, and the matter is not easy."
"Two years ago, we launched the first launch with liquid and solid fuels, as the first engine was liquid fuels, and the second and third engines worked on solid fuels. Today, we have about 68 tons of compound fuels, as we have the possibility to put many satellites in orbit around the Earth."
