Accordingly, of almost 9000 intensive care patients for whom the vaccination status was known, 62 percent were unvaccinated.
10 percent had incomplete immune protection (recovery without vaccination or partial immunization), 28 percent had a complete basic immunization or already a booster vaccination.
The survey covers the period from December 14, 2021 to January 12, 2022.
RKI and DIVI point out that the evaluated data in this form are not suitable for assessing the effectiveness of the vaccination.
For this, the data would have to be related, among other things, to the development of the general vaccination rate of the population.
In Germany, 72.3 percent of the population had received full basic immunization by Thursday.
