The OPES real estate group is building a three-story office building in Oberhaching.
Now the go-ahead was given for construction in the industrial park.
Oberhaching
- The building with around 5000 square meters of floor space is being erected directly on Raiffeisenallee.
As OPES managing director Jürgen Büllesbach said at the groundbreaking ceremony, “not only extraordinary architecture is realized, but also modern working environments”.
The building is made entirely of wood and significantly reduces CO2 emissions compared to conventional construction methods.
The design has an eye-catching shed roof reminiscent of saw teeth, surrounding galleries and large glass surfaces.
"The building shows that excellent architecture is also possible in commercial buildings," said Mayor Stefan Schelle (CSU) at the groundbreaking ceremony.
"We are proud of the location and look forward to a good cooperation with the companies that will be moving in here."
More companies are to move in here
It is planned that, in addition to OPES, other companies and the family foundation of the Munich entrepreneur Heinz Hermann Thiele, who died a year ago, will find a home there.
The topping-out ceremony is planned for September and the move is to take place next summer.
