Palestinian Minister of Agriculture Walid Atari affirmed that the Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks on agricultural lands and escalate their settlement procedures and plans aimed at bringing about demographic and geographic changes to Judaize Palestinian land.
Attari explained in an exclusive interview on Al-Souria channel tonight that the occupation authorities are deliberately targeting the agricultural sector, indicating that this sector represents the first line of defense for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in light of the great settlement aggression they are subjected to, aimed at seizing the capabilities of the Palestinians and liquidating their cause.
Atari indicated that the occupation authorities seize 85 percent of the Palestinian water resources, thus depriving about 85 thousand Palestinian families working in agriculture from benefiting from those sources.
